Just before half term we went on our Autumn walk, and what a lovely walk it was! Thank you to all the parents and helpers that joined us - we couldn't have done it without you. The children loved kicking around in the leaves and found some lovely Autumn bits.
We played games on the field and had snack outside when we got back
The Lions have been having fun with the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff, they have been reading, acting it out, and look at them avoiding the mean old troll while they trip-trap over the bridge!
On the 4th November Zoolab came to see us, and we were really impressed with how beautifully behaved the children were! Most of the children were very brave, and Jane especially loved Maude the Tarantula and Elsie the rat!
The Lions had great fun matching the letters in their names with their snack cards -some did a particularly super job!
We have also done the story of the Little Red Hen with the Lions, and they loved the story and made some lovely bread rolls for snack!
We have been learning about the Hindu festival of Diwali. The children made clay light holders, called Divas and decorated them. We lit all thecandles and it looked so pretty!
And of course, there has been the free play! As always, these provide the greatest pictures!
And as always, the children love stories, especially when they're read by Chelsea!
Thank you to so many parents who joined us on Monday for our Healthy Eating Parent Session when we made healthy Pizza for lunch with the children. Then we cooked them and ate them for lunch! YUM!
The children are now busy rehearsing for the Christmas play.....listen out for some super singing at home! In the meantime, watch this space for more news!
